I’m so excited — I sold my first ACEOs!! 🎉
I watched a few TikToks about shipping, fees, and all that fun stuff and thought I had it figured out… BUT apparently I missed one. I had no idea 3-day auctions cost $1, while 6-day auctions are free. Ugh. Annoying lesson learned, but honestly, no big deal!
Mostly, I’m just ridiculously excited to send my art out into the world. The thought of something I made hanging in someone else’s house is SO freaking cool to me. A binder is totally acceptable too… but let’s be real, hanging on the wall is cooler.
My tiny art is officially leaving the nest!
I hope they’re enjoyed and loved as much as I love them.
I really love seeing all the art everyone puts out. It’s so cool how every artist’s strokes are different, the materials they use are different, and everyone has their own little way of creating something.
But I ALSO still really love the things I draw, which makes them hard to give up. I usually keep them for a little while before I finally convince myself to put them on eBay. So these definitely aren’t the first ACEOs I’ve created — just the first ones I’ve actually managed to let go of.
And the ones I’ve made of my puppies? Yeah… I’m definitely keeping those. Not sure anyone else wants tiny art of my pups anyway, but they ARE super adorable, so their loss. lol.
